The Bride is a specialist boutique retailing designer wedding dresses and bridal accessories from the top four British couture dress designers. Winner 'Best Bridal Retailer South 2012'
The Bride needs to project an aspirational and sophisticated image that is all about individuality. This needs to be achieved consistently across a variety of media implementations, including of course, websites for PCs and multiple devices, including iPad / tablets and smartphones. The design of the web experience itself needs to accommodate varied formats and screen sizes and still deliver the same set of pre-defined brand values and market positioning. The new iPad website was also an opportunity to generate the next evolutionary step in the clients web presence, using the many new CSS3 properties now being supported on up-to-date browsers. The keys to persuasive communication are always the same whatever the media used and website design is no exception. A consistent and meaningful consumer experience at all touch-points is crucial to building trust amongst prospective customers or users. Illustrated are some of the pages from the iPad website version, including collections and designer brand galleries. The layout changes depending on the tablet orientation (portrait to landscape for instance) to ensure the website is always optimal for the viewer.
